The Cellar Door Bar and Bistro is located on the lower ground floor of the hotel. It is a very popular place for friends and family to meet, enjoy lunch or dinner, have a drink or two and enjoy live music at the weekend.

The Cellar Door Bar & Bistro has its own story to tell as the servants quarters and manor house engine room in days gone by. Several of the original features have been retained, the arched ceilings, the original open fire, the nine pane windows, beams and more giving you a real authentic sense of place and history.

Our bar has a comfortable and relaxing ambience. It has a well-spaced seating area, welcoming open fire and the carefully restored arches that add to the authentic cellar experience. An All Day menu is also served in the Cellar Door Bar and offers you a collection of tasty dishes using the very best of local ingredients.
