History

The lands of Killadeas on which the Manor House Hotel stands, acquired this name from the Religious Community of the Culdees or Ceile-De of Devenish, who owned these lands for many centuries and on which there was an Ancient Church and Graveyard.

It is unknown whether or not the Ancient Church of Killadeas existed before the Culdees acquired these lands.

Awards & Accreditations

We have been the proud winners of many awards over our years in business. We are a family owned hotel and are always delighted when we are recognised for our hard work and investment in the hotel.

We have won awards as the best wedding hotel venue, best restaurant, best bar winner. Our accolades have been recognised both regionally and nationally.

Electric Car Charging Points

Do you drive an electric car? Or would you like one in the future? We're delighted to announce that our 4 new electric car charging points are up and running- including 2 fast chargers!

This one of the many steps towards greener practices we're implementing across the hotel. In fact, we were recently recognised for 'Best Sustainable Practices' at the Irish Restaurant Awards!

The Perfect Country Retreat

Our country house hotel is really like no other, it has an impressive history dating back to the mid 18th century and to this day, the original house and a great deal of its impressive architectural features can still be seen.

The original entrance, awe inspiring hallway, majestic staircase with its marble columns will leave a lasting impression. Original architrave, coving and ceiling rosettes are still intact and give guests the feeling that they are staying somewhere unique, opulent and obviously well preserved.

The footprint of the original manor still stands prominent within the hotel complex. The Drawing Room in by gone days, would have been a place of conversation, relaxation and enjoyment of the fabulous vistas of Lough Erne. Little has changed, perhaps the soft furnishing are little more modern but the Drawing Room is still a place where guests congregate to enjoy afternoon tea, hold light conversation or relax.
